Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a lifeguard with strong swimming ability and excellent customer service to supervise pool and poolside activities. You will contribute to member safety, working on a rota that includes evenings and weekends, with NPLQ holders given priority in shortlisting.

The role offers hybrid working, with office on-site for part of the hours, and potential support to gain the NPLQ if not already held, to be completed within three months of starting.

Salary: £26,016 - £26,847 per annum (Plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts)

NPLQ holders receive priority for shortlisting. Non-NPLQ candidates may still be considered. Wiltshire Council may fund your NPLQ course, which you must complete within 3 months of starting, subject to swim test and course availability.
