Job summary

Warner Hotels Group is hiring a Lifeguard Team Member to ensure the safety of guests around the pool and leisure facilities while delivering friendly, attentive service.

You will supervise pool areas, perform rescue techniques, and provide first aid as required, contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests during their stay.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS) required.
• Ability to swim at least 100 metres unaided.
• Experience delivering customer service in leisure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety around swimming areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Carry out rescue techniques and first aid when needed.
• Educate guests on pool safety rules.

Join our team at Lakeside, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This hotel on Hayling Island has spa facilities, a cabaret restaurant, and overlooks a lake near the Hampshire coast.

Hourly rate: Up to £12.71 dependent on age.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What will I be doing?

As a Lifeguardyou will:

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
