Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member for Alvaston Hall to ensure guest safety at the pool and leisure facilities while delivering friendly service.

You will monitor guests, respond to incidents, and contribute to a safe, enjoyable guest experience as part of the Leisure team. The role offers hourly pay and benefits with progression opportunities within Warner Hotels.

Qualifications

• RLSS Lifeguard qualification or equivalent.
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Strong customer-service and guest-facing skills.
• Commitment to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Perform lifesaving techniques and administer first aid when required.
• Educate guests on pool rules and safety procedures.

Join our team at Alvaston Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This beautiful 253-bedroom hotel is a Grade II listed Victorian half-timbered country house, making a great base for exploring Cheshire’s green spaces and history.

Hourly rate: Up to £12.71 dependent on age.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What will I be doing?

As a Lifeguard you will:

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
