Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member for Gunton Hall to safeguard guests in our swimming facilities. You will join a supportive Leisure team and work to deliver a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable guest experience throughout their stay.

The role focuses on poolside supervision, incident response, and excellent service. National Pool Lifeguard qualification required; swimming ability of at least 100m is essential.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Work independently while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Follow the Health and Safety Policy to keep the pool area safe and secure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed.
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations.

Join our team at Gunton Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 212-bedroom coastal hotel has a rural feel, surrounded by Suffolk woodland, gardens, a lake, and pitch-and-putt course.

Hourly rate: Up to £12.71 dependent on age.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What will I be doing?

As a Lifeguard You Will

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
