Warner Hotels Group at Lakeside on Hayling Island is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member to oversee pool areas and ensure guest safety while delivering friendly service.

You will be part of the Leisure team, supported by the Leisure Manager, with opportunities for external qualifications and in-house development.

Qualifications

• Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while on shift.
• Work independently and maintain cleanliness across the leisure area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed.
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations.

Join our team at Lakeside, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This hotel on Hayling Island has spa facilities, a cabaret restaurant, and overlooks a lake near the Hampshire coast.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What skills do I need?

• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
