Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member at Cricket St Thomas, a 239-bedroom hotel with a theatre, spa and restaurant set in 160 acres of parkland. You will supervise pools, ensure guest safety and provide outstanding service in a busy leisure environment.

Applicants should hold the National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS), be able to swim 100 metres, and be ready to engage guests with a friendly, proactive approach while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RLSS Lifeguard qualification required.
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Work independently and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness in the leisure department.
• Follow Health and Safety Policy to ensure a safe, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed.
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations.

Join our team at Cricket St Thomas, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 239-bedroom Grade II listed hotel with a theatre, spa, and restaurant is surrounded by 160 acres of parkland in the West Country.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
