Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member for Cricket St Thomas, a 239-bedroom Grade II listed hotel with theatre, spa and restaurant set in 160 acres of parkland. You will monitor pool areas, provide excellent guest service and support a safe leisure experience for all guests.

Join our Leisure team to help maintain a welcoming environment, execute rescue techniques, administer first aid as needed, and promote pool safety rules in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification or equivalent.
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Strong customer service and guest interaction skills.
• Commitment to health and safety policies across the leisure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure guest safety in and around swimming areas.
• Provide friendly, high-quality customer service and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Carry out rescues and administer first aid when required.
• Educate guests on pool safety rules and regulations.

Join our team at Cricket St Thomas, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 239-bedroom Grade II listed hotel with a theatre, spa, and restaurant is surrounded by 160 acres of parkland in the West Country.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What will I be doing?

As a Lifeguard you will:

• Monitor and ensure the safety of guests in and around swimming areas
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun atmosphere
• Execute rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed
• Educate guests about pool safety rules and regulations

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
