Leisure Solutions Community Trust is recruiting a full-time Lifeguard at Woughton Leisure Centre. You will supervise pool activities, ensure safety, and deliver great customer care to visitors of all ages.
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is required; 18+ and weekend availability are essential. Serco provides training and development along with leisure benefits across the network.
Location: Woughton Leisure Centre, MK6 5EJ
Working hours: 40 hours, 5 out of 7 days including weekends, earlies (from 5am) and lates (up to 11pm)
Salary: Up to £26,510 per annum+ excellent benefits

As a Lifeguard you'll be an important part of life here at the centre as you ensure that everyone can use the pool in safety and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit.
Without you there can't be any pool activity. But you won't be working alone. Our leisure centre has a close knit and supportive team, all working towards providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community. Due to this being a full-time role and the flexible shift pattern, you will need to be 18+ to be considered.
You'll need to have excellentcustomer serviceskills as you'll be interacting heavily with our customers. So, whether you've earned that experience in a leisure or another customer facing environment, you'll be a people person who is happy dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.
You will be providingcustomer careto people of all ages, supervising activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensuring the safe handling and set up of pool equipment. And of course, when needed - you'll help to save lives.
As a lifeguard you'll naturally need to be safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations. Lastly, you'll need to have strongswimming skillsand it's essential that you hold aNational Pool Lifeguard Qualification(Royal Life Saving Society).
