Serco Limited, recruiting on behalf of Leisure Solutions CommunityTrust, is seeking Lifeguards for South Charnwood Leisure Centre. You will supervise pool activities, deliver excellent customer care and ensure safety for all visitors.

Working hours:Casual hours per week, between Monday to Sunday

Salary:£10.85 to£12.71 per hour + excellent benefits

As a Lifeguard you'll be an important part of life here at the centre as you ensure that everyone can use the pool in safety and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit.

What you'll need to do the role

You’ll need to have excellentcustomer serviceskills as you’ll be interacting heavily with our customers. So, whether you’ve earned that experience in aleisureor another customer facing environment, you’ll be a people person who is happy dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.

You will be providingcustomer careto people of all ages, supervising activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensuring the safe handling and set up of pool equipment. And of course, when needed - you’ll help to save lives.

As a lifeguard you’ll naturally need to be safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations. Lastly, you will need to have strongswimmingskillsand it’s essential that you hold aNational Pool Lifeguard Qualification(Royal Life Saving Society).
