Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a Lifeguard to join our Leisure team for a seasonal, fixed-term role starting in October. You will oversee pool safety, deliver engaging activity sessions, and help guests enjoy a fun, secure experience.

A valid NPLQ is desirable, with in-house training available. You’ll need strong communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings across indoor and outdoor facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid NPLQ certificate is desirable, with in-house lifeguard training available for the right candidates.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Previous activity leadership experience is desirable.
• GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and upheld at all times
• Deliver engaging activity sessions , ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience
• Set up and pack away leisure equipment efficiently between activities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the leisure facilities, including pool areas
• Support guests with general enquiries and ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities Lifeguard our indoor and/or outdoor swimming pools , ensuring the safety of all guests and responding to emergencies as required (dependant on qualifications)

Who We’re Looking For
