Devon Hills Holiday Park is seeking a qualified Swimming Instructor for a seasonal, part-time role. The position offers £16.81 per hour and involves teaching swimmers of all ages at our Devon Hills facility. Join a welcoming team and help learners build water confidence.

You will deliver tailored sessions, work with ASA standards, and communicate progress to parents while promoting safety and enjoyment in a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Level 1 swim qualification is essential.
• Level 2 swim qualification is desirable.
• Experience working with young children.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Proactive, friendly and patient approach is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and coach swimmers of all ages, building water confidence and progression.
• Deliver one-to-one or group lessons, tailoring instruction to each learner.
• Motivate children and ensure lessons are enjoyable and milestone-driven.
• Follow ASA or equivalent standards to maintain high-quality teaching.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of pool equipment and surroundings.
• Liaise with parents to update on progress and achievements.

What You’ll Do,

As a Swimming Instructor, you will:

• Teach and coach swimmers of all ages, helping them develop water confidence and progress through their stages
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group sessions, tailoring instruction to individual needs
• Motivate and engage children, ensuring they enjoy their lessons and reach key milestones
• Work in line with ASA (or equivalent) standards, ensuring a high-quality teaching environment
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of swim equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming poolside environment
• Liaise with parents, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and achievements

• Level 1 Swim Qualification (Essential)
• Level 2 Swim Qualification (Desirable)
• Experience working with young children, with confidence in engaging both children and parents
