Job summary

Nuffield Health Shipley is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe for members and guests. This permanent role is 8 hours per week with pro rata salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and keep training records up to date. A friendly, proactive team player with a passion for customer care will fit in well.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
