Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Lifecycle Technician based in Blackburn for the Lancashire Schools contract. This permanent, full-time role involves maintenance, joinery repairs, and minor upgrades across multiple school sites, with work around school timetables and safety at the forefront.

The role requires hands-on experience in building maintenance, strong tool skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while coordinating with the technical team.

Qualifications

• Experience in FM maintenance environment or education setting preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Experience liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to breakdown requests and perform repairs.
• Manufacture and fit items as required for lifecycle works.
• Carry out installation work for minor upgrading and adaptations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and in line with safety guidelines.
• Keep records and maintain lifecycle project updates.
• Collaborate with projects team to deliver lifecycle replacement across sites.
