Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lifecycle Engineer to join the Controls Lifecycle Engineering team in Solihull/Derby (hybrid). You will analyze LRU performance, drive cost and reliability improvements, and present findings to project and supplier teams.

The role requires STEM education, strong numeracy, and excellent communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with in-service civil aerospace systems, strong problem-solving abilities,

Qualifications

• Candidate is highly numerate with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and capable of both component and systems thinking.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Good time management and planning skills in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with LRU Suppliers and MRO facilities to deliver cost and maturity improvements.
• Develop insights and metrics on LRU performance focusing on safety and reliability while reducing cost.
• Present analyses to Project, Engineering and Supplier Management teams.
• Identify and lead changes to address drivers through Lifecycle Engineering and Project processes.
• Support the broader Controls Lifecycle Engineering team with cost and maturity challenges.
