Rolls-Royce in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Lifecycle Engineer to join the Controls Lifecycle Engineering team. The role is based in Solihull or Derby with a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a STEM subject or equivalent engineering experience.
• Numerate with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with in-service and control systems operation in civil aerospace is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence internal and external parties.
• Good time management and planning skills, able to prioritise and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Work with LRU Suppliers and MRO facilities to deliver improved cost and maturity support to Rolls-Royce.
• Develop key insights and metrics to understand LRU performance and highlight safety and reliability drivers with a focus on reducing cost.
• Present the analysis of these drivers for Project, Engineering and Supplier Management consumption.
• Identify and lead the change to address these drivers through the Lifecycle Engineering and Project processes.
• Support the wider Controls Lifecycle Engineering team with cost and maturity challenges.
