Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation is seeking a Lifecycle Engineer to join the Controls Lifecycle Engineering team in a hybrid role based in Solihull or Derby. You will support in-service mechanical and electrical systems, analyze LRU data, and drive cost and maturity improvements across civil aviation engine fleets.

The role emphasizes delivering meaningful insights, leading change through project processes, and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience working with in-service mechanical/electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with LRU Suppliers and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul facilities to deliver improved cost and maturity support to Rolls-Royce.
• Develop key insights and metrics to understand LRU performance and highlight safety and reliability drivers with a focus on reducing cost.
• Present the analysis of these drivers for Project, Engineering and Supplier Management consumption.
• Identify and lead the change to address these drivers through the Lifecycle Engineering and Project processes.
• Support the wider Controls Lifecycle Engineering team with cost and maturity challenges.
• Highly flexible with an engineering background, they will be capable of supporting wider Lifecycle Engineering activities such as unit and fleet level investigations.
