Job summary

Chubb National Underwriting Centre in Manchester offers a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days in the office weekly, with flexibility for training and meetings. You will renew Property, Liability, PI and Cyber risks for Life Science clients, from lower mid-market to large multinational programmes, working with UKI branch and distribution teams.

You will collaborate with claims, risk engineering and global services to deliver excellent broker and client service and to develop cross-line

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience dealing with brokers and clients.
• Property & Casualty underwriting knowledge is essential.
• PI/Cyber underwriting knowledge is an advantage but training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions while collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite renewal accounts according to defined guidelines and strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with a panel of brokers; communicate product and proposition.
• Contribute toward achieving the Life Science financial plan.
• Ensure policy documentation, contract certainty, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent and promote Chubb to brokers and clients; participate in internal meetings.
• Maximise cross-selling opportunities through collaboration with Chubb colleagues.
