Job summary

Rec 2 Rec Search in Leeds is seeking a Senior Consultant Life Sciences to lead niche recruitment across biotech, pharma, medical devices, diagnostics and research tools. You will recruit across commercial, technical, R&D, regulatory and senior leadership roles, building long-term partnerships with clients and candidates.

The role offers a £60,000 base salary with uncapped commission, autonomy to grow your desk and ongoing training within a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven billing experience in life sciences or closely related sector.
• Consultative, relationship-first approach rather than purely transactional selling.
• Commercially driven, resilient, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Genuine curiosity about science and the sector.

Responsibilities

• 360 recruitment within a specialist life sciences niche, covering commercial, technical, R&D, regulatory and senior leadership roles.
• Build long-term partnerships with employers and candidates across biotech, pharma, medical devices, diagnostics and research tools.
• Scope to develop your own niche and grow your desk on your own terms.
• Establish and nurture international networks spanning the life sciences spectrum.
