Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Manufacturing Director to lead Direct Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Reliability Engineering at a large Discovery & Medical site in Cardiff. You will apply DBS to standardize best practices, improve safety, quality, delivery and cost, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to meet customer expectations across regulated operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading high-volume manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Lean/continuous improvement background in Life Sciences or regulated industries.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Reliability Engineering teams across diverse regulated operations.
• Drive DBS tools adoption and disciplined improvement initiatives.
• Deliver sustained improvements in OTD, yield, OEE, and cost through structured problem solving and Kaizen events.
• Partner with EHS, Facilities, Supply Chain, Quality and DBS to close performance gaps.
• Lead process capability optimization, technology deployment and lifecycle asset reliability.
• Develop leadership talent and strengthen DBS competency across the site.
