Job summary

Cameo Consultancy is seeking an Internal Sales Executive for life sciences based in Birmingham. £28,000-£30,000 basic with 25% OTE. This role focuses on managing existing customers, identifying opportunities and developing relationships within the scientific sector.

The successful candidate will have a Life Sciences degree, a commercial mindset and the ability to build relationships with customers over the phone. Training and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• A degree in a Life Sciences discipline - essential.
• Confident and comfortable speaking with customers on the telephone.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and commercially minded.
• Organised and able to manage multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of existing life science customers.
• Proactively speak with customers to understand requirements.
• Cross-sell and develop accounts through repeat business.
• Reconnect with lapsed customers and build relationships.
• Generate new business with prospective customers.
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads and plan next steps.
• Arrange qualified appointments for field sales team.
• Prepare and follow up quotations.
• Maintain CRM records and pipeline activity.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Product Specialists, Marketing and Customer Service.
