Job summary

Essential Insurance Services is seeking a motivated Protection Advisor to join our life-insurance brokerage. Based at our Sale office, you will advise individuals and families on suitable protection products from a panel of insurers and manage the client journey from enquiry through policy placement and reviews.

You will need strong communication skills, consultative selling ability, and a solid understanding of FCA and Consumer Duty requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in life insurance or financial services sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong consultative selling and objection-handling abilities.
• Ability to explain complex financial products in clear terms.
• Self-motivated with proactive business development.
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand protection needs and objectives.
• Recommend suitable life insurance products from multiple insurers.
• Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions and costs clearly.
• Generate new business through referrals and existing client relationships.
• Maintain accurate client records and comply with FCA regulations.
