Job summary

Kisimul Group Ltd is seeking Life Practitioners for our Peterborough care home. You will support adults with learning disabilities, assist with daily living, and join them on community activities to promote independence.

The role includes driving the company vehicle with a full UK licence and access to a competency framework to unlock higher pay levels. Starting rates and progression are clearly defined within our pay grades.

About the Role

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Our Adult Residential Home is looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Tigh Calman in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and a dedicated Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Life Practitioner, you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. You will play a key role in helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting them in daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community.

We provide a company vehicle that can be used to transport the people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle, you must have held a full UK drivers licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.

Starting rates are £13.12 and for those with experience it’s £14.12**.

Level 1 - £13.12, Level 2 - £13.62, Level 3 £14.62.

Starting rates are effective from 1st September 2026.

You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates of pay.
