This is an exciting and important role, where you will be involved in a variety of licensing processes which includes the licensing of taxi and private hire vehicles and drivers, alcohol and regulated entertainment premises licences, temporary events, street trading, gambling and animal licensing.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of a prominent public-facing service, offering the opportunity to deliver an excellent efficient service, whilst continually improving licensing administrative systems and procedures. We’re seeking a confident, organised and keen individual who can manage varied, time sensitive workloads with detail and accuracy. You will also have a genuine interest in public protection andsupporting the business community. You will have great customer service skills and have experience with working in direct contact with the public. The role is hybrid with the expectation of attending the office at least once a week, service needsdependent. You will be required to attend meetings, and training when required. You will attend more frequently during your training. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
