Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.

This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your Mission

This project aims to build a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business. We seek a Licensing & Merchandising Specialist who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. The role involves developing and managing licensing activities, working closely with licensees and partners, and supporting merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, proactive, and able to switch between strategic planning and operational tasks.

  • Support the development and implementation of a licensing strategy aligned with the Audi F1 Project’s brand and commercial goals.
  • Manage the licensing process for branded products, ensuring operational efficiency, brand compliance, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings.
  • Negotiate and execute licensing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with licensees and partners to drive brand growth.
  • Monitor licensed product performance and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Oversee merchandising back-office activities, including processing orders and coordinating with logistics for timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in licensing management, preferably in sports or with a sports brand/club.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience managing key partners.
  • Deep understanding of licensing agreements, intellectual property rights, and contract law.
  • Excellent communication skills to present and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of consumer behavior in sports merchandise markets.
  • Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
