Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK.

This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your mission

This role is focused on building a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business within a fast-paced, start-up environment. The Licensing & Merchandising Specialist will develop and manage licensing activities, working closely with licensees and partners, and support merchandising operations. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, proactive, and capable of balancing strategic planning with operational execution.

• Support the development and implementation of a licensing strategy aligned with the Audi F1 Project’s brand and commercial objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end licensing process for branded products, ensuring operational efficiency, brand compliance, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings.
• Negotiate and execute licensing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with licensees and partners to drive brand growth.
• Monitor licensed product performance and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
• Oversee merchandising back-office activities, including order processing and logistics coordination.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in licensing management, preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of licensing agreements, intellectual property rights, and contract law.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
• Passion for sports and understanding of consumer behavior in sports merchandise markets.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
