Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a security professional to contribute to protecting customer property and assets on client sites in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will follow Assignment Instructions, maintain compliance with UK law, and support incident reporting and safety duties.

The role requires prior security experience and an SIA license, with commitment to ongoing training and professional conduct. This is an on-site position with on-going licence renewal obligations.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is required.
• SIA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering results that meet and exceed KPIs/SLAs for the customer through full responsibility and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal/regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Complete tasks on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and review changes to improve service.
• Maintain health and safety by reporting hazards and following safety procedures.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
• Participate in mandatory competency training and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
