Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a confident Security Officer to join on-site in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on protecting client property, people and assets, meeting KPIs/SLA, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with UK law.

The successful candidate will hold a frontline SIA licence (Guarding or Door Supervision) and may be required to complete additional mandatory trainings; SC clearance is desirable. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have frontline licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, to be worn at all times while on duty.
• Proactive in reporting hazards and incidents; able to follow Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Must comply with UK law and regulatory requirements; knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Protect client property, people and assets per AI's and KPIs/SLA.
• Maintain incident notebooks and complete accurate incident reports.
• Call emergency services and report incidents to the Communication Centre as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures, and renew licences before expiry (16 weeks).
• Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
