Job summary

Mitie is seeking a security officer to protect client sites in Milton Keynes. You will work as part of a team, ensuring compliance with site instructions and UK regulations while delivering reliable security services that support contract retention.

The role requires previous security experience, holding an SIA licence, and a willingness to complete mandatory training and renew licences on schedule. You will report hazards, maintain records and follow procedures during incidents.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations on client sites.
• Possession of SIA Licence (Front Line) and CCTV PSS may be required.
• SC clearance desirable or achievable.

Responsibilities

• Protect our customer’s property, people and assets by delivering security services on site.
• Meet or exceed KPI/SLA targets to support contract retention.
• Complete required competency training and renew licences as required.
• Comply with policies, UK law and site AI instructions.
• Report hazards and incidents promptly; maintain incident notebooks.
