Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a major UK defence organisation based in Wolverhampton. The role covers maintenance on military aircraft, diagnostics and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, ensure Part 145 compliance, and support career development through training, progression and security clearance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Part 145 and military aviation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance activities on military aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with Part 145 and civilian legislation and company approvals for all tasks.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to deliver safe, serviceable aircraft.
• Liaise with and supervise team members to maintain high safety standards.
• Undertake diagnostics and continuous improvement work.
