Babcock is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join the team at RAF Cosford near Albrighton, Wolverhampton. You will maintain aircraft to tight safety and regulatory standards, contributing to operational readiness and mission success.

Role requires B1/B2/B3 type ratings and UK CAA qualifications, with on-site 40-hour weeks and potential travel to other sites. You will work under Part 145, with comprehensive benefits and a clear career path within a global engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated aviation maintenance environments.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
• Holding relevant type ratings or experience across similar aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with regulatory requirements.
• Certify work completed in accordance with Part 145 or equivalent approvals.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and performance.
