Job summary

Morson Edge at RAF Cosford is recruiting a Licensed Aircraft Engineer for a permanent role within a regulated aviation maintenance environment. You will work on complex aircraft platforms, ensuring safety, airworthiness and operational readiness while adhering to Part 145 or equivalent approvals.

You will join a professional engineering team, maintain high workmanship standards, and liaise with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• UK CAA qualification or equivalent
• Must hold a B1.1, B1.2, B3 or equivalent licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with regulatory requirements
• Certify completed maintenance in accordance with Part 145 or equivalent approvals
• Diagnose aircraft faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and fully compliant with applicable standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and operational performance
• Work effectively as part of a wider engineering and maintenance team
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and regulatory compliance
• Previous experience working within a regulated aviation maintenance environment
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
• Experience working across relevant aircraft platforms or transferable type experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and airworthiness
