Job summary

Public Health Wales in Cardiff is seeking an Evidence & Knowledge Officer to support the Evidence Service. You will provide essential library functions, conduct brief literature searches, and help stakeholders access public health resources.

Qualifications

• Higher National Certificate or equivalent with numeracy and English.
• Knowledge of bibliographic databases and public health evidence.
• Experience as a first point of contact for requests and inquiries.
• Experience delivering current awareness services and admin support.
• Experience of working in a library and handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Evidence Service team and library functions.
• Support induction and familiarisation activities for new staff and users.
• Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders across Public Health Wales and externally.
• Deliver guidance on accessing library resources and evidence products.
• Assist with updating Evidence Service intranet pages under supervision.
