Brighton College is seeking to appoint a Library Evening Supervisor on a part-time, permanent basis. This role involves supervising pupils during evening study sessions, maintaining a calm learning environment, assisting library users and carrying out routine library administration.
The position reports to the Deputy Head Librarian and runs 9.5 hours per week, term-time. The role offers a range of benefits including life cover, pension and a learning and development programme.

To support the effective operation of the School Library by supervising pupils during evening study sessions, maintaining a calm and productive learning environment, assisting library users, and carrying out routine library administration and housekeeping duties.
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
You will be required to work 9.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 6.30pm to 8.30pm and Friday 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
This role will work term-time (33 weeks).
The salary for this role is £5,073.34 per annum.
Holiday entitlement is included in the salary for this role. All holiday is to be taken outside of the working weeks.
