Wiltshire Council is seeking a Saturday Assistant for Melksham Library to help customers with queries, assist them in finding books and information, and support them with IT. You will help keep the library looking attractive by shelving and promoting our stock and resources.

Prior library experience is not essential as training will be provided. A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, is required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, resilient person to join our Melksham Library team to help provide a high-quality service to our customers every Saturday. As a Saturday Assistant, you will assist customers with queries, help them to find books and information, and support them with IT. You will help keep the library looking attractive by shelving, displays and promoting our stock and resources. Previous library experience is not essential as we will train you in all aspects of library work. You will need to have at least 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, grade A - C or equivalent.
