Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Saturday Library Assistant in Melksham to help customers, locate books and information, and assist with IT. You will also maintain attractive shelves and displays, promote resources, and work as part of a friendly team at the Melksham Library.

Experience in libraries is not essential as training will be provided. A minimum of five GCSEs including English and Maths is required, with a pro rata salary based on hours and the weekend role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade A-C including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with queries and help them find books and information.
