Job Details

Hours and Salary: 35 hours a week, 36 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks).
Salary: £33,452 to £38,227 FTE (£26,523 to £30,309 actual) per annum.

Role Overview

The Library plays a key role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The Librarian will manage, develop, promote, and evaluate an effective learning resource and information service to support learning and teaching across St John’s School.

Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of building good working relationships.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skills and confidence to instruct pupils.
  • A degree and/or Diploma in Librarianship accredited by CILIP (desirable but not essential).
