Job summary

West London NHS Trust is seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Social Workers to join the Liaison Psychiatry Service in the Hounslow Team at West Middlesex University Hospital.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, conducting biopsychosocial assessments and delivering person-centred care, with access to supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications required for RMN/RN (Mental Health) or HCPC registration.
• Educated to degree or diploma level; post-qualification development expected.
• Teaching qualification or equivalent desirable for practice teaching and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Undertake biopsychosocial assessments for patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre or ED or admitted to medical wards.
• Care for patients 16 and above, including CAMHS, dementia, older adult, and complex cases.
• Provide autonomous clinical decisions with access to supervision from senior colleagues; liaise to coordinate safe discharge plans.
