Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join the Liaison Psychiatry Service at Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford. The post offers 24/7 CORE 24 shift work, a supportive team with clinical supervision, and opportunities to contribute to high quality care in a busy general hospital setting.

Applicants must hold current UK registration in their profession and be prepared to work across ages with strong assessment

Qualifications

• Professional qualification RMN/RN (Mental Health) or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with professional registration.
• Willingness to complete Mentorship course.
• Evidence of post-qualification experience with people with mental health problems.
• Evidence of CPD.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients referred from inpatient wards or ED under CORE 24 shift system.
• Provide high quality liaison psychiatry care and contribute to service development.
