Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift at Burgess Hill Depot. You will drive LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, working Monday to Friday for 45 hours per week, starting at 04.00am, outdoors and with initiative.

Offered is an hourly rate of £16.87 with occasional Saturday overtime. On-the-job training, Biffa Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies supplement the role.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Previous LGV driving experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders.
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors and use initiative while driving.
