Job summary

Biffa Group in Burgess Hill is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift. You will work Monday to Friday, a 45-hour week, starting at 04:00, driving LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.

This role is outdoors and requires a proactive approach, good communication and a strong commitment to safety. On-the-job training and employee discounts are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers hours regulations.
• Strong health and safety commitment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Previous LGV driving experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
