Job summary

Glanville-Environmental- in Plympton, Plymouth, is seeking an experienced LGV Fitter to service, maintain and repair a range of commercial vehicles. You will diagnose faults with Texa and Bosch systems, carry out routine servicing and ensure compliance with safety standards, delivering accurate records for each job.

You should have NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK driving licence and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a track record of high-quality

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Vehicle Technician role.
• Experience servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience using Texa and/or Bosch systems.
• Experience working with Ford and Peugeot vehicles.
• Confident using tablets, mobile devices and computer systems to complete job cards, service records and workshop paperwork accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and operational at all times. You will use modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults, carry out repairs efficiently, and maintain accurate records of all work completed. You will work on a fleet comprised of:Light Commercial Vehicles,Peugeot Boxers andFord Transit Vans.
