Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a driver for the Colwick Transfer Station in Nottingham (NG4 2JU). The role involves operating a busy fleet, performing daily vehicle checks, and ensuring timely collection and documentation. Average 48 hours per week with 4 on, 2 off rota, starting around 6am.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) Licence required.
• Up-to-date CPC certification required.
• Digi/Tachograph card is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

What you'll be doing

With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we're looking for

• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) Licence are required
• Up to date CPC
• Digi/ Tachograph card
