Job summary

Veolia is seeking a professional Class 1 (C+E) driver for locations around Newark-on-Trent. You will drive to collection sites, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately while following traffic laws and EU regulations where applicable.

The role requires up-to-date CPC and Digi/Tachograph credentials, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a 46-hour week on a 4-on/2-off rota.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi/Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Drive to collection locations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Minimal handballing.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving to collection locations
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
• Complying with all traffic laws, legislation, and EU driving regulations are complied with
• Minimal handballing
