Veolia Colwick Transfer Station in Nottingham is seeking a driver to operate daily routes delivering essential waste services. The role requires driving Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles, maintaining accurate onboard records and completing daily paperwork.

Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive environment at a site in Colwick, Nottingham. The package includes a salary of £37,591.75 plus Veolia benefits, with a 4-on/2-off rota and overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• Up to date CPC Digi/Tachograph card.

Responsabilités

• Drive to planned collection locations and manage multiple waste containers.
• Input information into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.

What you’ll be doing;

• With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we’re looking for;

• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) Licence are required
• Up to date CPC Digi/ Tachograph card
