Job summary

New Forest District Council is recruiting for an LGV Driver/Loader/Team Leader at Hardley Depot. This permanent, full-time position is on-site with a salary up to £33,515 per annum including market supplement and bank holiday payments.

You will drive and assist with loading, support teammates, and work at depots in Lymington and Ringwood. A moderate level of physical effort is required, with training provided in manual handling, reversing assistance, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• A moderate degree of physical effort is required, including some heavy lifting.
• Full training will be provided in manual handling techniques, reversing assistance, health and safety matters and any other training appropriate for the role.
• Morning start with an early finish by 2pm.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicle and assist with loading the vehicle.
• Support colleagues as needed and work across depots in Lymington and Ringwood.
• Ensure safe practices with appropriate PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
