Job summary

DPD Group is looking for a reliable LGV Driver to join our UK national transport team, operating a modern fleet equipped with GPS and digital tachographs. The role supports our people-first culture and sustainable delivery leadership.

Based in Sittingbourne, you will move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, manage trailer swaps, and ensure 100% compliance while delivering excellent service every day.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 experience.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License:Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience:At least 6 monthsexperience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• The Skillset:Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a "safety-first" mindset.
