Job summary

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food across the UK and Ireland with a large fleet and multiple depots. As an LGV Driver, you will make deliveries and collections, maintain vehicle checks, and ensure accurate delivery paperwork while representing the company professionally.

The role requires a valid LGV licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and a safety-focused mindset with good communication and organisational skills. Several shift patterns are available, including days and nights.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence and in-date CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Solid knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Flexible, reliable approach and commitment to safe working.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections across the UK, visiting various customers.
• Drive safely, perform vehicle checks and manage loading/unloading.
• Ensure paperwork is accurate and complete; work independently within a team.

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving. You’ll make deliveries and collections, visiting different customers and locations throughout your day.

You’ll be responsible for driving safely, completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading, carrying out temperature checks and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate and complete. You’ll need to be organised, flexible and comfortable working independently, while representing STEF Langdons professionally and being part of a wider team

What you’ll need

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
• A flexible, reliable approach and a commitment to safe working

Available Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday Days
• Sunday to Thursday Nights
• 5 on 3 off Days
• 5 on 3 off Nights
