Job summary

STEF Langdons, a UK-wide chilled and frozen foods distributor, is seeking an LGV Driver to support deliveries and collections across the country. You will visit various customer sites, perform safe driving, and handle loading/unloading with attention to temperature control and paperwork accuracy.

You should be organised, flexible and capable of working independently while contributing to a larger team and upholding STEF Langdons' standards and service commitments.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence.
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• A flexible, reliable approach and a commitment to safe working.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and perform vehicle checks.
• Make deliveries and collections visiting multiple customers and locations.
• Load and unload where required and carry out temperature checks.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Be organised, flexible and represent STEF Langdons professionally as part of the wider team.

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving. You’ll make deliveries and collections, visiting different customers and locations throughout your day.

You’ll be responsible for driving safely, completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading, carrying out temperature checks and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate and complete. You’ll need to be organised, flexible and comfortable working independently, while representing STEF Langdons professionally and being part of a wider team

What You’ll Need

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence

Available Shift Patterns

• Permenant position: Monday to Friday Days
• Temporary position: 5 on 3 off Days
