Job summary

STEF Langdons in Redditch is seeking an LGV Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver and collect across the UK, maintain vehicle checks and paperwork, and represent the company with professionalism.

Ideal candidates hold a valid LGV Cat C+E licence, with CPC and Tachograph, and a reliable, flexible approach, ready to work daytime Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence.
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Flexible, reliable with a commitment to safe working.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections to various customers and locations.
• Drive safely and complete vehicle checks.
• Load/unload cargo and perform temperature checks.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is accurate and complete; work independently as part of a team.

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving. You’ll make deliveries and collections, visiting different customers and locations throughout your day.

You’ll be responsible for driving safely, completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading, carrying out temperature checks and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate and complete. You’ll need to be organised, flexible and comfortable working independently, while representing STEF Langdons professionally and being part of a wider team

What You’ll Need

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
• A flexible, reliable approach and a commitment to safe working

Available Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday Days
