Job summary

STEF Langdons is recruiting an LGV Driver in Redditch to deliver chilled and frozen goods across the UK and Ireland. You will drive, perform vehicle checks, load/unload, and ensure paperwork is accurate. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently while representing STEF Langdons professionally.

The position is full-time and permanent, with a salary of £40,470.80 plus benefits in a modern fleet environment and opportunities for CPC training.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LGV Cat C+E licence.
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card required.
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections to various customers and locations.
• Drive safely and complete vehicle checks.
• Load and unload as required and carry out temperature checks.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Work independently while representing STEF Langdons as part of a team.

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As an LGV Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving. You’ll make deliveries and collections, visiting different customers and locations throughout your day.

You’ll be responsible for driving safely, completing vehicle checks, loading and unloading, carrying out temperature checks and ensuring delivery paperwork is accurate and complete. You’ll need to be organised, flexible and comfortable working independently, while representing STEF Langdons professionally and being part of a wider team

What you’ll need

• Valid LGV Cat C+E licence
• In-date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
• A flexible, reliable approach and a commitment to safe working

Available Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday Days
